  • Standard Test/Read only

     

    • Standard Test: Used in Vcheck quantitative tests and Vcheck RDT , takes  more than 5 minutes to read a single test  (varies depending on parameters)
    • Read only mode: Used only for Vcheck RDT, takes less than a minute. Recommended for reading a multi tests at once.

  • Why SAA has complicated procedures?

    SAA concentration in feline serum/plasma is too high for analysis.

    So, sufficient dilution step is necessary to get accurate test results.

    Vcheck fSAA has 2 dilution steps to exploit the  best result from the specimen.


     

  • Sample preparation

    After sample preparation, testing immediately is recommended 


    [Serum]: Collect the whole blood into a blood collection tube that does not contain an anticoagulant. Leave to settle for 30 minutes for blood coagulation and then centrifuge to get a serum supernatant. 

    [Plasma]: Collect the whole blood into a blood collection tube containing anticoagulant (only Heparin). Then centrifuge to get plasma supernatant. 



    *If  specimens would be tested later , they should be refrigerated at 2~8°C and used within 24 hours.

     For longer storage, freeze at -20°C or below and use within 1 year. Frozen samples should be brought to room temperature(15~30°C) prior to use. 

  • Vcheck Calibration Sets

    1.Calibration period/cycle 

    • Calibrate in every 3 months
    • Calibration is also required after V200 software version updates

     

     

    2.Expiry date of calibration set. 

    • 2 years after production. It its written on the label.

     

     

    3.Precautions with calibration set

    • Calibration set is very sensitive to light exposure, so store the set in the plastic bag right after use. 
    • Store the calibration set at the room temperature.

     

     

    4. Calibration kit should be applied in order of Cal 1 →Cal  2 → Cal 3


    5. If the calibration set is expired, contact to the local distributor for additional purchase.



    In case of calibration failure or when EEE error appear during calibration

     

    Confirm below factors

     

    • Calibration kit should be applied in order. 1 → 2 → 3
    • calibration kit temperature should be room temperature
    • If calibration kit defect suspected, try new calibration kit
    • If new calibration kits continuously show errors, replace the machine with new one and report to Bionote


  • Machine does not recognize test device at all

    Possible cause

     

    • Barcode mis-location
    • Try with new test with different batch

     


  • Invalid Error

    Major Cause & Solution 

     

    1. Volume of the sample applied to the device not enough (Maybe due to too much bubble) 

    → Try again with new test device and be careful with bubble formation

     

     

    2. Test device temperature was too low

    → Incubate the device 30 min in the room temperature prior to testing

     

    3. Defective device 

    → Try with product with different batch No.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

  • EEE Error

    Major Cause

     

    • Defective machine (Optic module) or defective device

     


    Solution

     

    • Machine repair required
    • Report to the local distributor or BioNote Head office.

     


  • E13 : Not Supported Device

    Major Cause

     

    • Barcode can not be recognized

     

     

    Solution

     

    • Check for any barcode damage
    • Calibrate.
    • Test again with different batch No.
    • If the problem continues, contact local distributor or BioNote Head office.
